Welcome to Mount Carmel United Methodist! We’re so glad you took the time to look us up.
You'll find that Mount Carmel is a place where newcomers are welcomed and soon become friends. We are large enough to offer a variety of strong ministries for all ages, but small enough to get to know one another. We believe that God is working in and through the church. You will find your own life transformed as you worship, pray, grow in relationships with others, and give of yourself in service.
What to expect
When you visit Mount Carmel, we want you to experience genuine hospitality.
As you enter a sanctuary front door, you will be greeted by one of our ushers, who will help you find whatever you need. Childcare is available during the worship services and the ushers will be more than happy to help you find the nursery and classrooms. Ushers can help with activity bags for children, and help you find the fellowship hall for coffee and donuts between services.
We have a casual environment with no official or unofficial dress code. Business casual is the norm, some wear ties, some wear jeans. Everyone is welcome!
Our services are filled with singing, prayer and a time for learning God's Word. During the worship service, we will take up an offering. As our guest for worship, you are not expected or required to make an offering. What we do hope is that you drop in the offering plate the registration card ("Connect Card") to tell us a little about yourself.
